How did we all surrender to today's technology spell?  From tablet-obsessed toddlers to pre-adolescents using appearance-altering filters on social media, to shameful "sharenting" and billions of users posting all aspects of our lives online, how does one disconnect from a wired world and be more present and authentic with self and others?

Raising a More Present Generation

This episode focuses on the challenges our youngest generations face with persuasive, manipulative technology.  What is it like for young people (and adults) growing up in a wired world that lacks true connection much of the time?  As parents what can we do to better manage technology in our own lives, within our homes, and most importantly, how can we support our children so they can live a healthier life balance with technology, screen time, and social media.  Generation Now Life Skills was formed to help our youngest generations, the future stewards of our world, be more present in their lives and experience a deeper connection with self and others -- unlocking their true potential as students and young adults.
