I thought it was a mental exercise; that if I focused my thoughts long and hard enough at a desired outcome, that ‘feeling’ of faith would rest on me. What a laugh! I look back now and shake my head in mirth. This life we have been called to live in Christ must be done always in faith, and it would be foundational for us to understand how to apply this needed currency to our daily lives. With the way things are happening in the world, it seems almost impossible to live a holy and pure life. It makes one wonder about the efficacy of the Word of God in these perverse times. But I’m here to tell you that the Word of God is still very much true and powerful. I say this not as a theological statement, but I speak as one who has experienced true freedom, who has been forever freed from sin and boldly lives a pure, holy life in Jesus Christ. It is possible to live holy. God hasn’t given us an impossible command. We can do it in Him, and since many don’t know the way, I’m here to point you to the only One who heals and delivers: Jesus. He saved me and surrounded me with songs of deliverance. Now, He has sent me to you. It is your turn to get delivered, and then boldly declare your testimony so that others may also be saved. Selah.
