Sara Zarr is the acclaimed author of eleven books, a creative writing teacher and coach, and host of the This Creative Life podcast. While she's often in her home town of San Francisco and Pacifica, CA, she currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and cat. A SONG CALLED HOME is Sara's tenth book and first middle grade novel. Inspired by her own San Francisco childhood, it follows fifth-grader Lu Emerson through some big life changes and challenges, and her father's unresolved issues with addiction and instability. Nicki Pau Preto is winner of the 2020 Goodreads Choice Awards. She is a fantasy author living just outside of Toronto, Canada. She studied art and art history in university and worked as a graphic designer before becoming a writer full-time.
