Books are a way of learning heaps of words- but what happens when you find a word that you don't know? In this episode, we chat to Donna Bartley from ECTARC(Early Childhood Education Services and Training) to see how she reads to young kids. Then we dive into a familiar tale- " The Real Estate Agent and The Three Goldilocks' " where three little girls find a mysterious, empty play village... or is it a display village? It can be hard finding words to express feelings- especially when you are a little kid! "Being naughty" -like throwing a tantrum or crying -are just ways that little one's express what they're feeling... but what happens after they let these emotions out? In this episode, we start off sinking into a conversation with Sarah Dean(a child psychologist) chatting about the importance of giving words to kids to regulate emotions. Then, we slip and slide into "Down the Gurgler"- an audio-sensory experience on how a little girl deals with an unexpected fear. We finish off with our conversation with Sarah and go deeper into what attachment is and how our special person can be found.
