episode Letting Go of People You Love artwork

Letting Go of People You Love

Today's guest is @ayyyee_lillaaayy This episode is about letting go of people you love and having to go your separate ways in life. An episode for everyone who has had to say goodbye to someone they never thought they would lose. Wether it be mutual, one-sided, peaceful, a harsh ending and all the other ways for a friendship/relationship to come to an end - in the end they all have one thing in common - and that is grief. Remember that love came first and that is why saying goodbye is so sad. Here are some of the forgiveness exercises I have been practicing that are from the book You Can Heal Your Life by Lousie Hay It can be a meditation or you looking into a mirror and saying "The person I need to forgive is ___ and I forgive you for___" then imagine the other person saying "Thank you I set you free now" do it for about 5-10 minutes searching your heart for all the injustices it carries then let them go. THEN you turn the attention to yourself and say "I forgive myself for ____" for about 5-10 minutes To dissolve resentment Lousie also recommends this exercise: imagine the person you resent the most on a stage having good things happening to them, them getting everything they've ever desired. Then see yourself on the stage having good things happening to you: remember abundance is available to us all :) do this daily until the resentment shrinks Also detachment! *I wish I mentioned this in the episode but Not judging or condemning the person or situation. There is no right or wrong side. Just decisions. And now it’s time to make another decision. Once you accept your part it’s easier to let go and move on :) To anyone in my life that I have had to part ways with just know, I forgive you, I love you, and I'm rooting for you. This episode exists because of you and all the lessons you have taught me through our separations. Thank you for helping me grow. Thank you for listening :)

Getting Out of Hopeless Situations | TW: Being attacked

please leave a review if you can it would really help me out <3 today's episode is a bit on the heavier side and is really focused on me and my story but it was something I needed to get off my chest, thank you for listening to me and allowing me to share. If it resonates or you need someone to talk with feel free to message me, you are never truly alone <3 recovery begins when we move out of isolation :) remember, pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. The meditation I mentioned is the 4 Brahmaviharas ALSO podcasting with ADHD is a struggle my mind wanders but I don't want to edit it out because I think it's great to be transparent about this as well :p so thank you for your patience hahaha <3 my Instagram: @anahis.heart
