Meanwhile, the woman sitting across from him pulled out a book, leaned back, and smiled like she just found extra time in her day. Same situation. Two different choices. That’s the thing about control—we never really had it in the first place. What we do have is how we respond. So here’s the takeaway: Instead of fighting the storm, learn to bend with it. You can’t control every delay, every outcome, or every person. But you can choose peace. You can choose patience. You can choose to let go. Because sometimes, the most powerful form of control… is surrender.
