RU Listening?
This week's agenda was planned to focus on Article 10 [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gSmT5ImIPVJG6Ec3g4jQi9dDtRv8mLOT/view] and Article 11 [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zx_yUItqDrFsXoW4E1GBEe1Xz2MOLTTO/view] release language (for settlement of grievances), an Article 22 counter (regarding earned-vacation accrual carryover), and a union response to management’s proposed Appendix H [https://rutgersaaup.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/November-29-2022-University-Proposal-Appendix-H.pdf] (pertaining to faculty and grad worker suspensions). However, this agenda was disrupted by management’s long-belated delivery of a response to our Article 8 proposal [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i4DhSk22NvhUk-KksFA5AbvY8NU8MxTe/view], focusing on salary and compensation. Their response was an insultingly low-ball offer [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SE4Dmj3BksvdSbPKlvkunvljKRUk9ecI/view?usp=sharing] after powerful and well-attended rallies in Camden, New Brunswick, and Newark, earlier in the day.
