Sales Is Mental
Millions of people saw Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett’s plea for men to open up about their mental health struggles after a friend of his committed suicide. It’s a message that has gone viral and got me thinking about a question I frequently ask myself… why don’t more men talk about their mental health? In this week’s episode of Sales Is Mental I unpacked some of my experiences, why I find it hard to open up and how I used alcohol to run from reality. I talk about why vulnerability breeds fear and how that leads to shame for many men. I also touch upon the definition of masculinity and whether or not it can truly be defined, and perhaps why archetypes and definitions prevent men from sharing what they are battling with. #salesismental #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #salespodcast #mentalhealthpodcast Website: https://www.salesismental.com/ [https://www.salesismental.com/] IG: https://www.instagram.com/salesismental/ [https://www.instagram.com/salesismental/] Twitter: https://twitter.com/salesismental [https://twitter.com/salesismental] Email: salesismental@gmail.com [salesismental@gmail.com] LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/salesismental/ [https://www.linkedin.com/company/salesismental/] Legal Disclaimer The contents of the Sales Is Mental website and podcast, such as audio and video recordings and other material contained on the Sales Is Mental website and podcast ("content") are for informational purposes only.
