Paper Quilling Basics 101 (Part 2) For Art Journaling | How To Make Scrolls For Your Art Journal Page and DIY Greeting Cards Today we talk about paper quilling for art journal pages and crafts in Part 2 of this two part tutorial. We continue on with more advanced shapes filing in the heart on our paper greeting card. We continue using the basics tools you’ll need to get started with quilling: quilling needle, quilling paper, fine tip glue bottle, craft glue, etc. I show you how to make a heart shape and fill it in using five scrolls: loose scroll, C-shape scroll, Heart-shape scroll, S scroll and Spirals. Bonus: I show you how to use the quilling comb and how you can place a quilling comb shape within your art journal page. I show you how to glue the shapes to your paper quilling card. You can either trace pictures for quilling onto your cards or draw your template right on the card. This is part 2 of a two part tutorial on quilling basic shapes to fill in basic quilling designs to get you going on the road for either diy crafts, like cards, or art journal pages.
