Descripción

It’s Dalany’s birthday… which means Payton was left in charge of the episode. That was the first mistake. Instead of doing something normal, Payton decided to conduct the official yearly business review of Dalany Inc., recapping the successes, failures, growth charts, emotional damages, and unexpected plot twists from Dalany’s 22nd fiscal year. We go through stats, patterns, personality traits, and major life events while Payton lovingly roasts Dalany for an hour straight… while also proving she might be her biggest fan. From the goofy moments to the genuinely beautiful ones, this episode turns into a full appreciation report disguised as corporate analysis. Dalany sets her goals, intentions, and KPIs for Year 23, talking about what she wants to grow, what she wants to protect, and how she plans to keep the whimsy alive even while life keeps getting more serious. We also listen messages from the people who love her most, because at the end of the day this episode isn’t really about roasting… it’s about celebrating someone who makes life brighter just by being in it. Sometimes the Elephant Room is chaos. Sometimes it’s therapy. Sometimes it’s a full performance review for your best friend. So grab a slice of cake, pour something bubbly, and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. The charts are detailed, the love is loud, and the elephant in the room is… Dalany might actually be the moment. 🐘🎂✨

episode The Sunday Scaries artwork

The Sunday Scaries

There are two types of girls on a Sunday: the productive go-getters and the productive rest-ers. This week, Dalany and Payton spend an hour trying to convince themselves they're the second type. As the Sunday Scaries settle in, both girls are running on fumes. Payton is preparing for a trip to Las Vegas, Dalany is recovering from being sick, and neither of them feels particularly ready to face another work week. Naturally, this leads to a deep discussion about rest, productivity, and the guilt that somehow manages to sneak into both. The girls talk about: ☕ Their ideal Sunday routines 😴 Why resting can feel harder than working 📞 The importance of calling your best friend every Sunday (a long-standing Elephant Room tradition) ✨ How to hype yourself up when motivation is low 🫶 How to calm yourself down when life feels overwhelming 🌅 What their dream days would actually look like if reality wasn't a factor Somewhere between the productivity talk and the exhaustion, things get a little delusional. The girls start planning fantasy Sundays, romanticizing their lives, and wondering if maybe the secret to happiness is simply allowing yourself to take a nap. Because sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest. The vibes are sleepy, the tangents are caffeine-fueled, and the elephant in the room is that neither of us wants it to be Monday. So put off your chores for another hour, grab a blanket, and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. 🐘☁️

episode 101 Rejections artwork

101 Rejections

Inspired by TikTok trends, rejection therapy, and a mutual desire to stop standing in our own way, Dalany and Payton are setting out to collect as many rejections as possible. Why? Because somewhere along the way, we realized we're often the first people to tell ourselves "no." Dalany brings the research, Payton brings the TikTok rabbit holes, and together they unpack what rejection actually is, the countless ways we reject ourselves before anyone else gets the chance, and how learning to tolerate rejection can open doors we never thought we deserved to walk through. The girls talk about: ✨ Rejection therapy and the psychology behind it ✨ Fear, confidence, and self-worth ✨ Opportunities that came from hearing "no" ✨ Personal goals, shared challenges, and hopes for the podcast ✨ Why better stories might be the best reward of all Of course, no Elephant Room episode would be complete without a little chaos. The girls receive their first fan email and, for the first time ever, have to decline a request. We're flattered, honored, and maybe slightly terrified. Now all that's left is for Dalany to actually build a system to track all 101 rejections. No pressure. The chaos is intentional, the growth is uncomfortable, and the elephant in the room is that fear has been making too many decisions for too long. So shoot your shot, ask the question, and come get rejected with us in the Elephant Room. 🐘✨

episode Chaos is BACK, Baby (Chaos Chronicle #1 S2) artwork

Chaos is BACK, Baby (Chaos Chronicle #1 S2)

The Chaos Chronicles are BACK for Season 2… and we are picking up right where we left off — emotionally vulnerable one second, absolutely unhinged the next. The girls start by recovering from Dalany’s birthday episode (yes, the one that made everyone feel something), before immediately spiraling into the birthday festivities: the parties, the iconic PowerPoint night (“23: Where Will She Be?”), and a night out on the town where Dalany had a very important mission… that may or may not have been completed. We’ll let you decide if it was a success or a cop out. Then, casually, life-changing information gets dropped — Dalany moving to Seattle might actually be a real possibility… and Payton has the dream receipts to prove it. Of course, we couldn’t go an episode without: ⚾ Banana Ball updates (always) 💘 The shocking revelation that people we know have MET Jackson Olson 🎤 A full breakdown of who we think we could realistically pull (Payton is shocked, Dalany is confident, as she should be) 💃 Megan Thee Stallion as Ziegler in Moulin Rouge — and yes, she has our official stamp of approval We round things out with our Moods & Modes (what we’re doing, loving, and obsessing over), a little sneak peek of what’s coming next, and then… somehow… end on unexpected Dalany family lore that even Dalany didn’t plan on sharing. The chaos is unfiltered, the tangents are endless, and the elephant in the room is… well, everything. Grab your drink, catch up on the drama, and come spiral with us in the Elephant Room. 🐘✨

episode The Personal Style Spiral artwork

The Personal Style Spiral

Alright… we know things have been a little deep lately. So this week we’re talking about something extremely important, highly intellectual, and not complicated at all… fashion. The girls will never claim to know how to look good, but we definitely know something. We’re just not sure what that something is yet. We go through our fashion eras over the years (including the shocking revelation that Payton might have been a fashion baddie in high school… and she did not know it at the time). Then we spiral into what we wish our style was now, what we think it is, and what it realistically can be. Because personal style isn’t just about what you like. It’s what you can afford, what actually looks good on you, what your lifestyle allows, your hair, your makeup, your tattoos, your nails, your color season, your birth chart, your confidence level, and apparently the emotional stability you have that week. We talk about the struggle of wanting one aesthetic but being born for another, the very real barriers of body types and budgets, and why sometimes the outfit only works if you believe it works. If anyone out there actually understands fashion… please help. We are taking applications. At the end of the day, the best thing you can wear is confidence. Even if the outfit is questionable. So grab your mirror, try on five outfits you hate, put one back on anyway, and come sit in the Elephant Room with us. The fits are inconsistent, the opinions are strong, and the elephant in the room is… we just want to feel hot. 🐘✨👗
