I've had multiple experiences in life, where I worked really hard at building something and then over time I didn't feel at home with in it... and again - and again and again - and finally years later I've realized my mistake . . . "I was building a house but not a home". I want to begin a discussion about our mis-conceptions, our mistakes, or maybe our misguided motives within and about relationships. I want to begin by talking about the personal relationships in our life, and then broaden the convesations and see how this concept relates to our connection in structures, systems, with life and maybe even with God. How much effort do we put into keeping the structure to the relationship, and yet the core foundation of the relationship itself (which is the actual relationship) we find our selves absent. One of my favorite things is conversation... but not just a regular conversation; but inter-faith conversations, inter-practice conversations, and inter-lifestyle conversations.
