Descripción

How No Water with God is Good News... In this episode, we explore Exodus 17:1-7 and how the Israelites’ lack of water in the wilderness reveals a deeper issue: trust in God’s sovereignty. Are we any different when we complain about our own wilderness seasons? We aren't. Let's learn just how evil it is to ignore God. What message we send when we do that...Discover why The Lord’s power over everything and His presence is the ultimate good news, even in moments of lack, and how trusting Him can transform our relationship with Him and our perspective. Join me as we reflect on the importance of replacing complaints with faith and recognizing God’s provision in every circumstance.

episode He said. She said. Who prayed? artwork

He said. She said. Who prayed?

In Amos 4:6-11, God wholly justified in rendering a punishment on His beloved Israel, holds back His hand instead. Israel was guilty of idolatry and a host of other things but instead of unleashing the fire and fury society has made God out to be, in radical form, He demonstrates His love asking them over and over essentially, "Why have you not returned to me?" or "Why have you not prayed or cried out to me?" He stands ready to be our everything, yet we ignore Him. So my question for us all is - who prayed? If we are all talking... and all doing... and so busy, who is praying prayers that value and acknowledge His worth? Who is praying prayers that He hears? The beauty of this is the invitation to eternal love. He is not the God the world has made Him out to be. He truly is extremely patient beyond the capacity any of us could be. He loves radically and extravagantly. The Way He does that is so set apart our minds struggle to comprehend a love that isn't inconsistent and conditional like ours...I invite you to build your prayer life, but He invites you far more. In every book of the Bible, the Holiest of Holies, wants to commune with you. That is beautiful.
