Descripción

I finished Coldwire three hours ago, and my head is still reeling from the plot twist in it. It’s not often you find a book that tackles privatization, mass-surveillance, military tactics, immigration, nationalism, ethics in tech, and propaganda all within its front and back covers. This book does all of that while delivering the message through Gen Z narrators and a dash of romance to leave you with hope for light at the end of the tunnel.

Ruined Character Arcs, Pointless Betrayals, and YA age limits? | Skip the Prologue Ep. 1

Welcome to the very first episode of Skip the Prologue, a podcast for readers who want to go beyond the hype. Today, we’re jumping into broken character arcs, betrayals that don’t earn their place in the story, and whether there is an age limit to reading YA. Today's episode is in get-to-know-me fashion, so enjoy this casual conversation about favorite (and least favorite) books before we get into our deep dives next episode! Comment your takes and which books you would answer for any of the questions! If you’re ready for deeper discussions about books, storytelling, and the culture around reading online, listen in as we skip the prologue.
