Happy Halloween! In this episode, I'm going to tell you all about the haunted Sweetwater County Library. Why is it haunted? Well, it's literally built on the old Green River cemetery, and not all the folks interred there were moved to the new cemetery... and some of the permanent residents are said to still make an appearance. This IS still a history podcast, but for Halloween I'm going to tell you all about this haunted location in a focused snapshot of the city of Green River, Wyoming. I also want to tell you something I learned about literally today while finishing one of the episodes I'll bring to you soon: there is an event each year at Fort Washakie called the Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow, this year it will be held June 27-29th! I wanted to get this information out there, I'm not super plugged in so I didn't know about it until now. This is the largest powwow in Wyoming, I've read, and one of the longest running!
