Descripción

Burnout is weird; you know you need rest, but rest feels impossible when you can't sit still. This week: discovering CLIs that actually bring joy instead of just looking productive, going all-in on Rust, and learning from Mistborn that you can't extract what you haven't stored. Also, sitting with my cat watching birds instead of doom-scrolling, morning coffee rituals, and remembering that hype can be a joy thief. Sometimes, the real win is just making space to exist. https://github.com/bugzmanov/bookokrat [https://github.com/bugzmanov/bookokrat] https://github.com/Jaxx497/NoctaVox [https://github.com/Jaxx497/NoctaVox] https://github.com/fern-d3v/devKataCLI [https://github.com/fern-d3v/devKataCLI]

Learning to Scry

Soft Reset is a late-night dev log about learning to build things while learning who you are. In this first episode, I talk about what it feels like to start over — self-studying full-stack development, breaking and rebuilding mental models, and treating learning like a kind of scrying: staring into unfamiliar systems until meaning slowly takes shape. We touch on Souls games, fantasy, creativity under capitalism, and THC as ritual rather than escape — not as advice, just as reflection. This isn’t a tutorial and it isn’t motivation content. It’s a checkpoint. If you’re teaching yourself something difficult, carrying questions about identity, or just coding late at night and wondering if any of it is sticking — you’re not alone. Sit by the bonfire for a while.
