Sonic Event by onlyseltzer.xyz
A lot of spatial mixing, playing around trying to work with the flys and other animals touching the mic while this was set up in the woods.

THIS ONE'S A TRIP. . . BIG MACHINE SOUNDS. . . LOTS OF WATER
MIGHT NOT BE BEST THING FOR SLEEPING I find this relaxing, meditative as well as jarring at times. It was fun to edit, and I'm enjoying listening to this. It's a trip, and leaves me feeling clearer and more relaxed. Or maybe it's just me. Enjoy. The story here is taking us on a ride on a ferry in NYC, from Manhattan to Brooklyn, and then to a park on the east river on the Williamsburg side, all against the backdrop of a recording of the ocean pulling through rocks on a small island in Alaska.
Alaskan Tide, Rocks and Rain
A little quick one here. This was made with the Sony PCM-D50 near Seward, Alaska on a small island looking out at the ocean. The tide was pulling through a mess of stones that made this nice hollow clanging sound that ends up being soothing to the ears. Good for a quick meditation on the train or just a mid-day calm down.
