Mothering is a verb, not a noun. In an effort to create a broader, more inclusive definition of what motherhood is, I've invited my friend and talented photographer Michelle Dixon of Mary and Luna to speak on her mothering experience as a woman who does not (yet) have any biological children of her own, but who mothers nonetheless.
