From glorious, sunny Upper Sandusky, Rachel and I discuss the various receipts my body has kept over the years as a result of my unprocessed trauma. From cold sores to bionic hips, my body has been there for it all--cataloguing and inventorying every unexpressed pain, unmet need, and squelched resentment over the years. Since I live in the here and now, and try not to hesitate on good stuff that enriches my life, I've decided that this is pure gold in its raw, unedited, snot-sniffing, microphone-bumping, phone-pinging, Jimmy-legs-kicking, timer/technical difficulties. I refuse to get sucked into the trap of perfectionism again--so, this is gonna have to be good enough. Full disclosure: I have a glut of content that I may never live long enough to share, so I just cannot justify wasting time obsessing over my use of vocal fillers and an occasional f-bomb. I lived and survived to get here to share what I know--you can suck up the sniffles, yo!
