Descripción

We spend a lot of time asking ourselves: What do I want? What can I do?What opportunities are available to me? Those are important questions to ask yourself. But there’s another question that often slips by: What are the consequences of my choices? Not just for you, but for the people around you as well. There comes a point in life when success is no longer just about getting what you want. It also becomes about how you get there, and what price you’re willing to pay—or let others pay—for it. Because the truth is… Just because you can do something doesn’t automatically mean you should. You can maximise profit, convenience or personal gain. But every decision creates ripple effects. Some that are visible and some that are rather invisible. That’s why social responsibility is not just a corporate concept, but it is also a personal one. It shows up in how you spend your money, how you treat people, how you lead or even how you make decisions when nobody is watching. Every choice you make reflects a value you hold close; a belief about what matters, and who matters. And this is where things become complicated. There are rarely perfect answers. Life is full of trade-offs. Different people will draw the line in different places. What feels fair to one person may feel unfair to another. What feels responsible to one person may feel restrictive to someone else. And that’s okay. The goal isn’t to be perfect. The goal is to be aware. Unconscious choices lead to unconscious consequences, but conscious choices invite responsibility. And that responsibility starts with asking yourself better questions. Not only: “Can I do this?” and “Do I want to do this?” But also: “What impact will this have?”“Who benefits?”“Who carries the cost?”“And can I live with that outcome?” The older I get, the more I realise that building a beautiful life is not ONLY about creating opportunities for yourself. It’s also about considering the people around you. It might be the communities you belong to, or the future you help create. Maybe that’s what maturity really is: not squeezing every advantage, but recognising that your life is connected to others, and letting that awareness guide your choices. Today I invite you to ask: “What kind of impact do I want to have?”“What values guide my decisions?”“And when I look back at my life, what choices will I be proud of?” Because your life is not only measured by what you achieve. It is also measured by the responsibility with which you achieve it. With love,Anja ✨ This is a public episode. Measurement - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 61/90

We often find ourselves focused on moving forward—the next goal, the next challenge, the next thing we want to improve. But in all that forward motion, it’s easy to forget to pause, to look back, and to notice how far you’ve already come. Growth is hard to feel while you’re in the middle of it. The habits become normal. The challenges become familiar. The improvements become invisible. One day, someday, you find yourself thinking: “Nothing has changed.” In reality, almost everything has. You’re just standing too close to see it. That’s why reflection matters. Not to judge yourself, but to become aware. Reflection is your invitation to pause, even for a moment, and gently notice where you are today compared to a few months ago. Reflection allows you to start seeing things differently. The conversations you handle better. The habits you’ve built. The fears you’ve moved through. The challenges that once felt impossible and now feel ordinary. And suddenly, progress becomes visible because you finally took the time to look for it. And this isn’t just about achievements. It’s about your feelings, your relationships, your energy, and your sense of fulfilment, too. Not everything meaningful can be measured with numbers. Some things are measured through honest questions and conversations you hold with yourself. What am I proud of? What surprised me? What still needs attention? Where do I need support? What deserves celebration? And perhaps most importantly: Who am I becoming? Measuring your progress isn’t about proving your worth. It’s about creating awarenes; of what’s working, what needs a little more care, and the journey you’re truly on. When you check in with yourself intentionally, you step out of autopilot and start showing up for your own growth. Here are your questions for reflection today: “How far have I already come?”“What has changed that I haven’t acknowledged yet?”“And how can I create a way to regularly check in with myself?” Your life becomes meaningful when you learn to notice it. So notice it! With love,Anja ✨ This is a public episode. Permission - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 59/90

So many dreams don’t actually fail. They just never get the chance to begin. It happens not because people aren’t capable, or not even because the opportunity doesn’t exist. It doesn´t happen because somewhere along the way, people convince themselves: “That’s not for me.”“I’m not ready yet.”“I’ll start later.” And later turns into next month, next year, someday. Meanwhile, what you want stays right where it is. Waiting for you. What makes this so difficult is that these thoughts rarely sound like fear. They sound reasonable, practical, and even responsible. They disguise themselves as logic. But underneath, there’s often something much simpler: not giving yourself permission to try, to be imperfect, to want more, to fail, or even to succeed. Trying means you might feel disappointed or find out something doesn’t work. But it also means you give yourself the chance to see what could work for you. And that’s the part we often forget. When you don’t try, yes, you protect yourself from failure. But you also close the door on possibilities that, over time, can become their own quiet kind of loss. The life you want is usually hidden behind actions that feel uncomfortable. For you, those uncomfortable things might be speaking up, starting, applying, creating, or sharing. And you don’t need to give yourself permission because you know you’ll succeed, but simply because you’re willing to find out what happens if you try. Sp: “What do you need to give yourself permission to do?” Is it the permission to be visible? To take up space? To dream bigger? To feel afraid and move anyway? Courage is rarely the absence of fear. More often, it’s the decision that fear doesn’t get the final vote. So what permission are you still waiting for? Who are you hoping will give it to you? And what might shift if you gave that permission to yourself, right here and right now? Your life doesn’t grow when someone else approves of it. It grows when you finally allow yourself to try. It depends - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 58/90

We love certainty. The perfect routine, the best diet, the ideal career path, and also finding that one habit that will change everything. And when someone shares their answer with enough confidence,it’s easy to want to believe the.m. Certainty feels safe. Yet, life is rarely that simple. The older I get, the more I notice that one of the wisest answers is also one of the least satisfying: It depends. Not because it’s vague, but because it is actually honest. What works for one person might not work for another. What serves you today might not serve you next year. What felt true in one season of your life can become completely irrelevant in the next. That’s growth. Because context matters. Your personality matters. Just as your values matter. And your goals and circumstances matter as well. And yet, so many of us spend years trying to force ourselves into someone else’s formula. We follow advice that doesn’t fit. We adopt beliefs we never questioned. We carry rules that were created for a different version of ourselves. And then we wonder why something feels off. Here’s the invitation from me to you today: Start questioning. Not out of cynicism, but out of curiosity. Let yourself wonder. Questioning brings awareness. And awareness gives you the freedom to decide what is actually true for you. This doesn’t mean rejecting every piece of advice. Quite the opposite. It means listening, learning and experimenting. And after all that asking: Does this fit my life? Does this align with who I am? Does this help me become the person I want to be? Wisdom isn’t about collecting answers; it’s about learning which answers apply to you. Sometimes, the beliefs that need questioning aren’t the ones you learned yesterday. They’re the ones you’ve carried for years. The assumptions you’ve never revisited. The stories you’ve repeated so often that they started sounding like facts. And maybe some of them were true once. Life changes. You change. And what was true then may no longer be true. So today, instead of searching for the right answer, maybe ask yourself: “What does it depend on?”“What assumptions am I making?”“And what if there is more than one possible truth here?” Because your life becomes more aligned when you learn to think for yourself. Hobbies - Sparkle Up Your Life - Day 57/90

Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, it’s easy to let go of hobbies, simply because life gets so full. Work fills your calendar, responsibilities fill your evenings, and before you know it, the things you once did just for fun slip away. Things like sport, creative projects, or learning something new stop being essential to us. And yet… That might be exactly why they matter so much. Hobbies give us something that achievement often can’t. Play, curiosity or even joy without a specific outcome. The surprising thing is, a hobby rarely stays just a hobby. It’s a way to start learning again, to challenge yourself. You might even discover abilities you didn’t know you had. And then, you find others who enjoy the same thing, and a sense of community starts to grow. Suddenly, one small hobby begins to touch many parts of your life. Your confidence and creativity. Your consistency and relationships. And all of this can start with one simple decision: to spend an hour doing something you genuinely enjoy. Many people see hobbies as an option, something to do when there is extra time (if there is), and this is how they miss the power hobbies have. But often, hobbies create the very things we’re searching for. More energy and connection. More excitement and more meaning. Hobbies won’t solve everything, but they can remind you that life is about more than just productivity. Hobbies are all about exploration, following your curiosity simply because it interests you. They are about becoming a little more alive. And maybe that’s the real purpose of a hobby. Not to become the best, or to turn it into something productive (even though that might happen too). But simply to reconnect with the part of you that loves learning, creating, playing, and growing. So today, don’t ask: “What should I accomplish next?” Ask: “What am I curious about?”“What activity makes me lose track of time?”“And what hobby might bring a little more joy into my life?” Because your life doesn’t just grow through responsibility. Sometimes, it grows through the things you choose simply because you love them. With love,Anja ✨ This is a public episode.
