Sarah Hadland may be known to many as Miranda’s best mate Stevie in the BBC sitcom, but she’s often busy on stage, having recently appeared in plays at the Almeida, Donmar Warehouse and Trafalgar Studios. She’s currently starring in the Lyric Hammersmith’s production of Michael Frayn’s classic comedy Noises Off which runs in the West End at the Garrick Theatre, and we went backstage to chat to her about the comedy, keeping a stage-screen balance as an actor, and the incredibly famous guests the show has welcomed to the stalls. .The music used in this podcast is Acid Trumpet by Kevin McLeod, used under Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

As soon as Pasek and Paul's hit musical Dear Evan Hansen announced its West End transfer, speculation was rife about who would take on the eponymous role. That responsibility fell to graduate Sam Tutty, an avid fan of the show from its early days. Rebecca McKinnis plays Evan's mum Heidi, and joined the show from playing another West End mother in Everybody's Talking About Jamie. The pair both sit down with us for this two-hander interview back stage at the Noel Coward Theatre in London. The music used in this podcast is Acid Trumpet by Kevin McLeod, used under Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

Sh!tFaced Showtime is an improv show that sees a group of actors rehearse a condensed production of a classic tale, but each night, a different actor takes to the stage absolutely smashed. We sat with actor Hal Hillman as he began drinking before a production of the troupe's latest showing, A Pissedmas Carol. Actor Tom Edden sits down with us backstage at the Playhouse Theatre to talk about working with director Jamie Lloyd, as well as his previous roles in shows such as One Man, Two Guvnors - for which he was nominated for a Tony - Amadeus, Matilda, Les Miserables, and more. Victoria Hamilton-Barritt is an accomplished West End performer known for her roles in musicals such as Murder Ballad, Flashdance and Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights in London. She's currently performing in her first West End play, the Young Vic's production of Death of a Salesman in the West End, and she spoke to the Spotlight podcast about her musical career, why she'd be a zookeeper if she wasn't an actor, workshopping Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella musical, and much more.
