Pressing on Towards Jesus | Philippians 3:12-21
In this message, we explore Paul's powerful picture of the Christian life as a race. Though none of us have arrived spiritually, we are called to keep pursuing Christ, leave the past behind, and press on with our eyes fixed on the eternal prize.
Life in the Spirit | Romans 8:1-11
On this Pentecost Sunday, Hazel shares from Romans 8 on what it means to have life in the Spirit, namely that it starts with the sacrifice of Jesus, leads to a changed mindset and involves being in the Spirit.
With all Joy ⏐ Philippians 3:1 - 11
Light Up the World | Philippians 2:12-30
In this talk we are challenged to “light up the world” by living distinctly in a culture Paul describes as “crooked and twisted.” The message explores how modern society, like every generation, has drifted from God’s design, creating its own standards of truth and morality instead of aligning with God. In response to this Paul calls Christians to “work out your salvation” — not by earning salvation, but by living outwardly what God has already worked inwardly. This means both our character and our words matter in witnessing to others. For Christians are called to live transformed lives that point others to the hope, joy, and saving grace found in Jesus.
Joy in Unity | Philippians 2:1-11
In this message we explore the call to joyful unity in the church. True unity is built through harmony, humility, and selfless care for others - as shown in the life and ministry of Jesus. As we reflect on Christ’s humility in His incarnation, His crucifixion and His exaltation, we’re challenged to live not for ourselves, but for Him and for one another. This is a powerful reminder that a united church reflects the heart of Christ and brings glory to God.
