For this episode, I’m joined by the humane, bright-souled, Marine veteran Rachelle LaFleur. In the episode that follows, Rachelle shares aspects of her personal story that include becoming a Marine, being a single momma, her passion for supporting veterans, and even shares a bit about an upcoming trip to go snowboarding…which she clearly loves. …and that’s just it: listening to Rachelle, her directness is refreshing and her genuine care and concern for others is inspiring. Further, not only does Rachelle strike us as a caring individual, she is also clearly a take-no-shit warrior. So, here is a beautifully complex individual: she’s clearly a fighter but loves just as profoundly as well. For those listeners that have been with me through the last month, this may sound like a different episode. And, in ways, it is. Instead of a conversation about knives and gear, though we do get to meet Harrison Ford – trust me, you’ll get it after you listen – we get to hear from someone who has used various tools and technologies that trickle down to the hobbyists over time.
