Stories We Tell
Episode 9 is here ✨ It feels like I spent the entire episode trying to convince Hannah to sing something for us - and (third time’s a charm) she finally did. And honestly… the song she chose opened a whole new door of questions I didn’t even know I had. In just over an hour and a half, I learned so many things about her that I had simply assumed all this time: that she’d been writing songs since she was little, that she’d been playing piano her whole life… absolutely not. Instead, we talked about the unexpected beginnings, the detours, and the weird little influences that shape an artist - including her relationship with IKEA meatballs. Yes, really. This conversation feels like the perfect autumn episode. We talk about music, love, friendship, moving to new cities, making impulsive choices in your apartment, health (one of us had never done a blood test before turning 30 - you’ll need to tune in to know who), creative growth, the role of community and family, and what it means to reinvent yourself at any age. There’s a lot happening for Hannah at the end of this year and in 2026, and I cannot wait for you to discover more of her music and her world. If you want a conversation that feels warm, curious, and a bit nostalgic - this one’s for you.
