Episode 3: What it Took to Match Ortho ft Dr. Tyler Williamson

Joining me this week is Dr. Tyler Williamson. Tyler is one of my fellow PGY-1's at UT San Antonio. Tyler matched into Orthopedic Surgery this past year. In this episode Tyler shares his experience about what it took to be the first student to match Orthopedic Surgery from our newer DO school. He shares his advice on how to choose a specialty, how to decide where to do Sub-I’s and how to stand out on Sub I's,  the importance of research, and how to study and enjoy the medical school experience.
