#31: Final Episode (with Steve Levy)

Steve Levy, executive producer for Starburns Industries, joins Eric on the FINAL episode of SuperFriends to talk Meltdown Comics' closure, his work on Harmontown and Ricking Morty-- and his love for iCarly!  Also: Rick and Morty season four spoilers (kind of)! Meltdown may be closed. The podcast may be over. But the battle for "Truth, Justice, and The American Way" is never-ending. Keep up the fight, Super Friends. #30: The Adventures of Seinfeld and Superman (With Kevin Alvarez)

Advertising guru Kevin Alvarez joins Eric in the studio to reminisce about the 2003 American Express campaign which was basically just a glorified excuse for Jerry Seinfeld to write two short films about Superman. Patrick Warburton (Brock Samson, The Tick) voiced Clark Kent! Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning Vietnam) directed! #28: LOOK MAGAZINE February 27, 1940 (with Alex Wolinetz)

Alex Wolinetz (Ravel) is a playwright, a comic book author, and a Jew!  In this episode, Alex joins Eric to discuss a rare two page comic by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster (Superman's creators) that appeared exclusively in LOOK Magazine, and features The Man Of Tomorrow taking on both Hitler and Stalin. Other topics include: Jerry and Joe's Judaism affecting their worldview, the entire Comic Book medium as an extension of Jewish culture, and the boys' punk rock attempt to reappropriate the terms "Übermensch" (used by Hitler) and "Man Of Steel" (used by Stalin), and apply them towards an American immigrant superhero.  Shalom!
