Good morning! Your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia beach forecast coming your way for Monday, June 8th through Friday, June 10th. Let's start with today. We're looking at moderate risk for rip currents along the entire coastline, so swimmers and waders need to stay vigilant out there. Surf heights are running two to three feet up in Northeast Florida, dropping to around two feet down in Southeast Georgia. The water's warming up nicely in the lower eighties up north and hovering around eighty degrees down south. We're expecting partly cloudy skies across Northeast Florida with mostly cloudy conditions down toward Georgia, and the UV index is cranking at very high levels, so get that sunscreen on. Wind-wise, we're starting light from the southwest at about five miles per hour this morning, but don't get too comfortable because by afternoon we're shifting to east northeast winds bumping up to ten to fifteen miles per hour. Tides are roughly an hour later than today, with lows between nine twenty and nine fifty-three AM and highs between three forty and four-fifteen PM. As we push into Wednesday, conditions improve slightly. Surf heights drop to one to two feet in Georgia while staying two to three feet up north. We're expecting mostly sunny skies, particularly down in Southeast Georgia where it'll be sunny. Temperatures reach the mid eighties in Northeast Florida and the upper eighties in Southeast Georgia. Winds settle down to around ten miles per hour from the southeast and five miles per hour down south. Thursday brings more sunshine and warming temperatures. Northeast Florida tops out in the upper eighties while Southeast Georgia climbs closer to ninety degrees. Surf heights stay one to two feet across the board. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms developing, so keep an eye on the sky. Southeast winds in Northeast Florida run about five miles per hour, while South winds dominate down in Georgia at similar speeds. Finally, Friday wraps up the week with mostly sunny skies and even warmer temperatures pushing into the upper eighties up north and lower nineties down south. Surf heights drop to one to two feet.
