It's a Trap!

Today, we’re reviewing a disappointing draw for the Rave Green as the Sounders visited Sporting Kansas City on Saturday May 2nd. Despite scoring early on, the boys managed to allow Kansas City to flip the script and make the sounders pay for an uncharacteristic mistake. Although the Kansas City Wizards are still Wood Spoon contenders, their players came to play despite their only hope this year being the goal of “Not worst in MLS”. The Sounders will need to pick themselves up and remember they are supporter shield contenders this week as they host San Diego, another team in horrendous form. Today, we’re reviewing another victory for the Rave Green as the Sounders hosted FC Dallas on Saturday April 25th. Undefeated on Lumen’s new grass, The Sounders had a wonky game where both teams felt the absences of star players. Thankfully our depth continues to impress as Brian Schmetzer’s boys saw out a Two to One victory to bring our overall record to 6-1-1 and 4th in the West despite playing the least amount of games in our Conference. A week between games as the boys in Rave Green hop back on the plane for a pit stop against the worst team in MLS, Sporting Kansas City, before a 3-match homestand for the month of May.
