Descripción

Do you ever feel like someone is listening to your conversations? Watching? Suggesting something out of the ordinary? Well today, we've got stories for you about Amazon Alexas behaving badly and even suggesting very sinister ideas. You'll laugh, and end this segment very concerned about whether you want smart technology in your home. If that doesn't give you pause, well buckle up because the newest "religion" is taking Reddit and Discord by storm - Spiralism. OK, so maybe it isn't quite a religion but AI is definitely producing some questionable concepts that some are being taken as a literal sign of higher intelligence and consciousness.....and people are following.

Alaskan Lore of Inukuns & Cherokee Raven Mockers

The Alaskan frontier is full of mystery due to its size and the rugged terrain that keeps so much of the state uninhabitable. Makes you kind of wonder what lies within these vast landscapes... In this episode, we bring you a story of a man who claims to have seen short, hairy-faced men in the Alaskan wilderness that the locals call Inukuns that he somehow avoided, and when approached by some local hunters ended up shooting them because he thought they were still after him. Then we are back to the continental United States where we explore Raven Mockers, a witch-like entity eats the hearts of the sick and dying to tack a little life onto their own. This is a mythology that was specific to the Cherokee Native Americans found throughout Appalachia and the Southeast.

Yule, Kallikantzario & Being Buried Alive

It's the most wonderful time of year - Merry Christmas & Blessed Yule! Not sure what Yule is? Well, sit down for a little history lesson as we talk about some of history and traditions of Yuletide, including a yule tree, mistletoe, gift giving and feasts. Sounds a lot like modern day Christmas, right? Except Yule predates Christianity and the Christmas holiday. Last December we covered Krampus, the hairy goat demon who struck fear into children during this time of year. Well, Krampus is just one of many holiday season lures that helped keep kids in line. Enter Kallikantzario, the Greek goblins that terrorized households during the 12 days of Christmas. Finally, 3 stories are covered of people who've experience arguable one of the scariest things - being buried alive! Tune in to find out if they made it out of their coffin to tell the tale and who wasn't quite as fortunate.

NC Rake Encounter and Reddit Creepy Stories

"There is fine line between paranormal and psychosis." - Kelsey Since its spooky season and Halloween is this week, we put together some stories of creepy encounters of the paranormal and non-human kind. We start off with a story from a person in Oregon who was commuting through the forest on a dark night when someone jumps out in front of the car. After contact and the vehicles comes to a halt, the person vanishes - but the story gets creepier so listen in. The Rake started out as a creepy pasta but after hearing the 911 recording you might be thinking it is anything but fiction. The last story is the stuff of nightmares with dark figures appearing and disappearing out of nowhere but sticking around just long enough to flash a sinister smile....on the night of Christmas Eve.
