In the village of Lower Quinton, farm labourer Charles Walton was found brutally murdered in circumstances that fuelled rumours of witchcraft, ritual killing, and the occult. Decades later, advances in DNA analysis have led researchers to propose an identity for the man. But while a name may now exist, questions remain about how he died — and why he was never identified at the time.
