Chaos Walking

This week JP will be reviewing Chaos Walking, a new film by Doug Liman. Chaos Walking is a highly anticipated movie starring Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland, and Nick Jonas. Chaos walking is a film adaption of the Chaos Walking novel series by Patrick Ness. The story takes place in a dystopian future where all women are believed to be extinct and men have developed a condition where their thoughts are visibly projected, called “Noise”. This episode serves as the last episode of the first season of the Average Viewer. I will be returning briefly on April 16th, before the beginning of Season 2 in August where I will be joined by a co-host, in addition to the implementation of several new exciting features and material I have been working on for the listeners. I Care A Lot

JP is joined this week by Cali Hughes, another average viewer just like you. Cali enjoys watching films in her free time, and working with film as a Media Studies major in college, with the goal of Producing. We will be discussing the recent film, I Care A Lot, by director J. Blakeson. I care a lot is a crime/comedy about a court ordered guardian for the elderly, who defrauds her wards of their wealth, until she attempts to defraud the wrong woman. This results in an ensuing war between the main character Marla Grayson, played by Rosamund Pike, and drug lord, Roman Lonyov, played by Peter Dinklage.

Cherry

In this episode we will review Cherry, the new film by the Russo Brothers staring Tom Holland, based off of the 2018 autobiography of the same title by Nico Walker, that concerns his time spent as an Army Medic in Iraq, an opioid addict, and a bank robber. Nomadland

In this episode we will be reviewing the new film Nomadland by Chloe Zhao, director of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series Eternals, and Sundance nominated film Songs My Brothers Taught Me Nomadland is a drama/indie film centering around the life of Fern, a woman who is living the nomadic van life in the rural west after the Great Recession and death of her husband. It presents audiences with the question of the burden of living in America, what is a home, and finding purpose amidst loss and sadness.
