My Hurt Is Real

I am feeling hurt, my eyes are wet, my heart is bleeding, I feel this heaviness in my chest and a darkness that blinds my head”, we’ve all felt this pain at some point or the other, be it a breakup, a friendship that is not reciprocated, or a trust that get’s manipulated, a heart break is inevitable, but the Good news is…you can overcome it. Ever since I remember I have been struggling to deal with hurt, be it my family, friends, love, death or dreams. My way of dealing with hurt was to completely block the person who caused me pain. This would have worked perfectly if those people could be completely eliminated, but as we all know that’s not always possible. I read somewhere that the thing you run away from the most, follows you the most. And also that life keeps repeating the same lessons till you learn from them. Make the decision to let it go. Things don't disappear on their own.  Express your pain — and your responsibility. ... Stop being the victim and blaming others. ... Focus on the present — the here and now — and joy. ... Forgive them — and yourself.
