Hey guys This is a bonus episode And you probably might hear me tear in certain places lmao sorry in advance It's a trip that brought many flashbacks :( and I think it taught me something new as well :( I hope it's something that you'll resonate with and if you're going through a hard time understanding where you are in your journey of healing, don't worry <3 It really does get better <3

Well if the episode heading doesn't give it away then I don't know what will 🥴 Today's episode consists of the taboo, the unspoken, the words that should never be uttered especially in a brown household, cause to our parents it's apparently non existent 🥹 I jabber quite a bit but let me get into my mode of zen in the time to come please 🫠

Different like our spices, layered like our curries

We all encounter different types of parents, somehow fitting into different points of a spectrum. Either way, there are certain things that we can do on our part to maintain our mental health and our peace, while also maintaining a healthy relationship with your parents. Gonna get kinda intense (I think) but lessee how it goesss 🤪

Building a healthy mindset and an attitude that responds better :) (Brown parents edition)

This episode marks the beginning of the journey where we are vulnerable and we boldly face our triggers and our fears. It's very important to be able to acknowledge our emotions and our feelings, and it's a journey that you must take. Be rest assured, the healing process is not easy, it's not an overnight change, it's a long process that may or may not last for months or years. Your journey is personal to you and it is valid! You are not alone and you have the strength and courage and the boldness within you, but all it takes is your choice and the decision you take in order to control your life!
