Descripción

In Season 2, Episode 4 of The Bridge Ministries Podcast, Brother Joshua Tanner brings a powerful message: Which Thief Are You? From Luke 23, we see two men on the cross—both guilty, both broken, both facing the same end. One continues to mock Jesus, defined by his past and hardened in his heart. The other turns, recognizes who Jesus is, and simply says, “Lord, remember me.” This message reminds us that salvation isn’t complicated—it’s not about perfect words, perfect timing, or perfect people. It’s about the condition of your heart. One thief let his past define his eternity. The other placed his faith in the man on the middle cross—and everything changed. A message for anyone who needs to know it’s not too late. Just come to Him.

episode Never the Same artwork

Never the Same

An encounter with God is never meant to leave you unchanged. In this message from Isaiah 6, Pastor Matthew Cole takes us into the throne room where Isaiah comes face to face with the holiness of God. Confronted by God's glory, Isaiah sees his own flaws and cries out, "Woe is me." What follows is a powerful picture of conviction, cleansing, and calling. The very thing Isaiah confessed as unclean was the very thing God touched and purified. This message is a reminder that God is not looking for polished people wearing Christian masks. He is looking for surrendered hearts. Too many believers are living forgiven but not healed, carrying wounds, shame, and struggles behind a spiritual appearance. True freedom begins when we get honest before God and allow the Holy Spirit to work in the places we cannot fix ourselves. Pastor Matthew reminds us that while the world may be shaking, God's throne is not. The Church is not powerless. The same God who cleansed Isaiah with fire is still refining, restoring, and commissioning His people today. When we dwell in His presence, He changes us from the inside out and prepares us for whatever He has called us to do. The question is not whether God is calling. The question is how we will respond. Will our prayer be "Send them," or will it be Isaiah's response: "Here am I. Send me." One encounter with a holy God changed Isaiah forever. It can change us too. We are never the same.

It is Time to Fight

This wasn’t a polished message. It wasn’t planned out perfectly. Honestly… it felt more like a warning siren than a sermon. Pastor Matthew said this message was never even meant to be preached. But you can tell God had other plans. There are Moments the weight of the message just sits heavy in the room and it makes it hit even harder. This episode is a wake up call for believers who have gotten comfortable fighting uncovered. The enemy does not fight fair. He attacks quietly. Strategically. Looking for the areas we left unguarded. Too many Christians are losing battles they were never meant to lose — not because they are weak, but because they stopped staying ready. This message dives into The Armor of God, Spiritual warfare, Prayer as preparation,Standing firm under pressure. It talks about Why isolation is dangerous, How storms reveal what your life is built on, And why you cannot afford to disconnect from the Body of Christ. “If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.” The pressure will come. Storms will come. The hits will come. But the question Pastor Matthew asks throughout this message is simple: Will you still be standing after this? It is time to fight.

A message for anyone who feels overwhelmed, scattered, or distracted from the presence of God and the people right in front of them.

Fear is a Liar

In Season 3, Episode 2 of The Bridge Ministries Podcast, Pastor Matthew Cole continues the series “Let It Go” with a challenging message: Fear Is a Liar. Through Exodus 3, we see Moses face the same struggles many of us do—fear, insecurity, and the feeling of not being enough. But God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. This message breaks down the difference between a healthy fear of God that draws us closer and an unhealthy fear that keeps us stuck, focused on ourselves instead of Him. Fear will lie about who you are and what God can do through you. The question is—will you keep making excuses, or will you give God your yes? A message for anyone ready to let go of fear, stop living bound by insecurity, and step into what God is calling them to do.
