The Bridge Ministries Podcast
An encounter with God is never meant to leave you unchanged. In this message from Isaiah 6, Pastor Matthew Cole takes us into the throne room where Isaiah comes face to face with the holiness of God. Confronted by God's glory, Isaiah sees his own flaws and cries out, "Woe is me." What follows is a powerful picture of conviction, cleansing, and calling. The very thing Isaiah confessed as unclean was the very thing God touched and purified. This message is a reminder that God is not looking for polished people wearing Christian masks. He is looking for surrendered hearts. Too many believers are living forgiven but not healed, carrying wounds, shame, and struggles behind a spiritual appearance. True freedom begins when we get honest before God and allow the Holy Spirit to work in the places we cannot fix ourselves. Pastor Matthew reminds us that while the world may be shaking, God's throne is not. The Church is not powerless. The same God who cleansed Isaiah with fire is still refining, restoring, and commissioning His people today. When we dwell in His presence, He changes us from the inside out and prepares us for whatever He has called us to do. The question is not whether God is calling. The question is how we will respond. Will our prayer be "Send them," or will it be Isaiah's response: "Here am I. Send me." One encounter with a holy God changed Isaiah forever. It can change us too. We are never the same.
