Vision 2020

This year 2020 began a new decade and Nigerians had high hopes for the year, we had hope for better leadership and governance. The political leadership had envisaged that Nigeria would become one of the 20 best economies in the world. This was topmost among the goals that grabbed public imagination since it was launched 11 years ago, conceived by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in 2006, and launched by late President Umaru Yar'Adua. We have gone half pass the year already and Nigeria's economy is facing collapse instead of the initial plans by the government to become one of the 20 best economies in the world. Should we say the Nigeria government failed as a result of the world pandemic? Can we call it a blessing or a curse in Nigeria? Listen to Grace as she shares with us the vision 2020 and the review of the first half of the year.

Dear Bad Lecturers 2020

Talking about our experiences in uni was the best way we could dish out activities in the Nigeria higher institutions. Being a student in Nigeria is the ghetto. You will have to deal with a lot of things and at the top of this list are the lecturers. Some lecturers are good but then some lecturers are without conscience. I know quite many undergraduate and postgraduate students who are passing through hell in the name of receiving education in Nigeria. A lot of lecturers in the Nigerian universities — most especially the public ones have turned themselves into the demigods oppressing the students, though they are supposed to inspire and empower young people within and outside the classroom. Some of this lecturer believe A is for God, while B is for them, so no matter the effort the student puts in he ends up with a C grade.

The average nigerian lady believes that their lovers/boyfriend should be responsible for their financial needs. The day you say "Will you be my girlfriend?", you become the solution to all her existing problems and even the ones that exist in her mind! Most relationship have gone down the drain because of MONEY. Girls don't have chil when they realized their boyfriend's or lovers are broke or not able to supply their financial needs. On the other hands there are guys too, who have make their girlfriends their ATM but this problem is not just the man/woman thing. It's the Africa mindset. It's believe that the one whom you are in a romantic relationship with should be able to give you money and provide all kinds of luxuries. Many women dream of getting married to a rich guy, what they have failed to realise is that their life/ their well being/the society which they may want to help will only revolve around that man's income this means they can't get things they love if the man does not have the means, so ladies should try and build themselves so they can be financially independent. Notwithstanding, Guyz should try to support their lovers because regardless, MONEY is the ointment that's much need in any Romantic relationship
