Starbucks caught our attention this week with its bold statement of going "green" by reducing it's milk use. Which they consume only .3% of the U.S.'s cow milk consumption. Personal opinion but that's not a real big decrease in the carbon footprint by turning to milk substitutes which still takes some sort of industry to produce.  We also go more in depth on an eye opening study regarding impossible meat and discuss the quite entertaining segment shown on the Today show with Dr. Oz.

January has turned Veganuary! Never heard of it? It's real and it came in like a Lion.  Golden Globes jumped on the Veganuary train this year and in this instance, unfortunately, celebrities and media have a huge influence over society even though their facts are incorrect about animal agriculture and the beef industry.  Impossible Foods is called impossible for a reason! Because, it is IMPOSSIBLE to recreate MEAT from something other than real MEAT. You may imitate it and that is what we want their labels to say. Consumers deserve to know which is exactly what the Real MEAT Act will do. Catch us next week! By the way, we're working on it...
