We have all been impacted in different ways when it comes to Covid-19. We wanted to hear directly from our students to understand what this impact looks like for them. Please email me at Rebekah.howard@ashford.edu with your entry for our Champs Covid Comfort Packs. Or send in a message via the message link. We want to hear what are some things you enjoy doing during this time. Have you started a garden? Written a book? Or just relaxed and binged watched a new show. Whatever it looks like for you we want to hear it. Winners will be announced next week! -Bekah

Episode 2: Staying safe

Welcome to episode 2 of The Champs lounge! I am your host Bekah and my Co Host Evan Grey is also here! Today we are talking ways to stay safe and entertained during the self quarantine we are all facing. We are in this together!  Covid 19 is a serious illness. It is not the flu or a regular cold and we have go do what is best to ensure we keep ourselves and others safe especially our community on the front lines like doctors, nurses and utility professionals caring for the ill. We have been asked to do this by staying indoors and only leaving out to get food, supplies and medical attention. Schools have closed. Restaurants, and entertainment facilities. So we are all stuck at home doing our part to flatten the curve and no overwhelm our Healthcare system even more then they already are. This isn't easy but we can make it through together! One of the most important things to do is keep our minds active and busy. But also recognizing that stress is natural and your feelings of fear, uncertainty, angry, sadness is 100% valid.
