In this episode we start a new series called "Walking in The Spirit".  To kick off the series we take a look at what Jesus says in John 15:1-5 about abiding in Him. To dive deeper into this teaching we look practically at what it means to be dependent on God for everything in life. We also assess how this teaching aligns with the Gospel that we believe in as Christians.  We have faith that we are forgiven of our sins but do we have faith in the fact that Christ now lives through us to deliver us from our sins? That is the key question we address.

We look at Biblical examples to find this answer and see how we can apply it to our relationship with Jesus.  Tribulation can be tough to bear in the moment but we can take comfort in the fact that God is always working us through it.

With all thats happening in the world, it's easy to victimize ourselves in situations of suffering and pain but biblically that is not how we are called to respond to these things. Episode 3 kicks off the first part of a series that's going to carry through the next few episodes, which we're calling: Rising Above The Storms.  The focus for this series is going to be on how God is working in our lives during times of pain of persecution. Starting today we’re going to kick it off by discussing the things happening around the world and the dangers of how our church culture is preparing us to respond.
