The Conversations that Carry Us
In the episode, Habiter l’espace, curator Dominique Fontaine discusses her curatorial practice that is rooted in movement, collaboration, and collective intelligence. In the spirit of knowledge transfer, she also shares organizations and writing platforms that have been instrumental in developing a critical vocabulary about practices circulating outside of the European and American canons in the late 1990s/early 2000s. We explore how one can export their practice, notions of hospitality and the logistics behind international collaborations. ¤¸¸.•´¯`•¸¸.•...•.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸¤ This episode was recorded during the summer of 2022. ¤¸¸.•´¯`•¸¸.•...•.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸¤ Transcription will be available soon 彡★ 彡★ Team/équipe彡★ 彡★ - Audio Editor Katie Kotler - Transcriber Jacqueline Joachim - Transcription Copyeditor Josiane Ménard - Branding and social media strategist Leone McComas ¤¸¸.•´¯`•¸¸.•...•.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸¤ This episode was made possible through the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and The Centre for the Study of Black Canadian Diaspora. ¤¸¸.•´¯`•¸¸.•...•.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸¤ The theme music is Raindrops Unearthed by Chanteclair.
