Descripción

In today's episode we're going to tackle all things in the Quantumania. The new Ant-man film didn't entirely work for me, but after seeing it two times I still think there's some magic in this film to explore: * Cassie's Journey w/ Empathy * What didn't work within the writing * Kang Theories Hope you all enjoy! The next deep dive will be J.C Chandor's 'Margin Call'.

All Things WandaVision; Her trauma; Her future; Juicy Theories

With Elizabeth Olsen recently teasing a possible return of our favorite witch I thought it would be a great time to re-examine the magic within WandaVision and talk about the storytelling possibilities for the future! In today's episode we cover all things Wanda Maximoff & WandaVision! * First I’ll talk about some powerful themes associated w/ Wanda * Then we’ll dive deep into WandaVision examining how it depicts the 5 stages of grief * Lastly I’ll spend time addressing Wanda in Multiverse of Madness, theories on where we can see her next & how she connects to Kang The Conqueror Wandavision is a dedicated character study that explores Wanda's journey with grief. Written by Jac Scheffer, directed by Matt Shakman; starring Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Kathyrn Hahn, Kat Dennings, and Evan Peters. Streaming on DisneyPlus!

Titanic's Greatness, 25 years later

In today's episode, we're going to be revisiting James Cameron's 1997 Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Recently James Cameron re-released the 1997 romantic disaster film ahead of its 25th anniversary. As a baby millennial born in the latter half of the 1990s I remember this film as some of my fondest memories of first being in a movie theater and experiencing a blockbuster; the epic scope & mythical love story are still captivating generations to come.  In this episode we’ll talk about what I believe this film means, from a filmmarking perspective. Then take a deep dive into why I think the story between Rose & Jack is the best romantic story ever to grace our cinemas (sorry notebook).  Join me as I take time to revisit this gem of a movie and its impact in the last 25 years.
