The [De]Bakery
Junior year has been... a wild ride, to say the least. But I've learned a lot from it, and I hope that you can learn from my experience, too!!

Deep Talk?: Graduation & Regrets
Isolating yourself, drifting friendships, and simultaneous fear of a lack of change and new change (I graduated!) all at once. It's okay to not feel ready to leave. We can freak out, then move forward together. An episode best listened to at night, with headphones, for those who are struggling too. :) <3
Self-Improvement and Changing Your Thinking
What does self-improvement involve? How can you become a happier, more optimistic person? How can you learn to be less hard on yourself, to appreciate who you are, where you are, and what you will grow to be? I hardly have all the secrets, but here are my answers to those questions. :)

Anti-Blackness in Asian-Americans
I want to state something very quickly: the majority of Asian-Americans are NOT racist. But the fact that some are, that some hold onto racist ideas, must be altered. And to those of you whom this episode impacted: please remember that change requires empathy as well as passion and conviction. Understanding your opposition is not synonymous with acceptance. To influence someone else, before you emotionally react to their beliefs, seek to educate them and express yourself. And most importantly, LISTEN to your black black brothers and sisters. I believe in you. Let's make the world a better place!! And, by the way, if you listened to this and left confused because you think black Americans already have equality... please do some research. Sorry for funky audio!! T^T
Alumni
Some swanky DeBakey alumni talk about life after DeBakey. It's an hour long, man, you may as well hit play instead of trying to read a summary. The editing for this episode was a mONSTER. But what matters is that I made it through! Thank you so much to Daanish, Emily, Jennifer, and Ricqueben from DeBakey's Class of 2019 for coming on the podcast - you guys are the best!! :)
