The Death Diaries
On this episode I talk with Carl Öhman, a doctoral candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. His research looks at the ethical and political challenges that arise from the growing volume of ‘digital human remains’ – data left by deceased users – on the internet. This includes questions of about what happens to our data when we die, what should we do with dead people's data? And who should decide?
