This episode features Mink’d Out Extensions owner, India Mason. India is a native of Prince George’s County Maryland by way of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated, and a trailblazing entrepreneur. Her brand Mink'd Out Extensions, is a hair extensions company that specializes in offering quality hair extensions at an affordable price. Since the start of her journey into the hair industry, she has gained notoriety and has gotten the approval of quality by many. She has been featured in Voyage ATL, Vogue, as well as numerous tv/music and media outlets. Above all her titles, her most favorite is “mommy”. She is a new mom to a baby girl and says that she is the reason for it all. Currently when she’s not building her empire, she is hitting the books pursuing her PHD in Neurology at Baylor University. On today’s episode our special guest - actress, entrepreneur and owner of MR22 Entertainment - Mahogany Raspberry, joins us to discuss the resilience it takes to not only obtain success, but sustain it as well. Born native of Mobile, Alabama, Mahogany began performing in her youth at local talent shows. She toured for 2 ½ yrs in the blues market, and decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia and that’s where she found her niche. She jumped head first into the modeling world, and got bit by the acting bug. She has been in many stageplays, Web series, Tv shows, skits and more. Mahogany Raspberry, was also given the opportunity of having her own radio show for 4yrs “Ms Mo’s Intimacy Box”, where there was a panel of 4 ladies, having intimate conversations about life and things that went on in the calendar year. As a person who lets to set daily goals, she set out to start her own entertainment company. She started with writing her own monologues, which turned into shorts, and become full films projects.
