Descripción

What does it actually mean to give generously? Not out of fear. Not out of guilt. Not because someone told you you'd be cursed if you didn't. In this week's message we're talking about one of the most abused topics in the local church — financial giving. We'll take an honest look at how Malachi 3 has been misused, what the widow with two coins actually teaches us about generosity, and why giving is just as much an act of worship as anything that happens on a Sunday morning. Generosity isn't about hitting a percentage. It's about posture. It's about holding your resources loosely in the hands of a God you trust. And it's one of the most tangible ways we advance the mission of Jesus — inside the church and far beyond it. This is Week 7 of GLAD — a discipleship pathway we're walking through at Everyday Church. You don't have to be part of our church to apply these principles. But if you're ready to examine what generosity actually looks like in your life — this one's for you.   From Sunday 04.19.26

Pentecost Sunday (More Than a Moment)

Pentecost Sunday isn’t just about Acts 2, speaking in tongues, or a moment in church history. It’s about the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the life of the Church. In this message, Pastor Randy walks through the history and meaning of Pentecost, from Mount Sinai and the Feast of Weeks to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. Along the way, he wrestles honestly with modern church culture, discipleship, spiritual formation, discernment, and the difference between hype and genuine transformation. What happens when we pursue encounter without formation? What does it mean to be truly dependent on the Holy Spirit? And how do we avoid settling for the appearance of power while missing the real thing? This message is both deeply personal and deeply challenging — a call back to authentic dependence on the Holy Spirit, real discipleship, and lives fully surrendered to Jesus. From Sunday 05.24.27

Mother's Day - Chain Breaker (Pastor Don Vining)

In this Mother's Day message Pastor Don Vining delivers a powerful and faith-filled word on breaking spiritual chains in the home. Drawing from the story of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15, Pastor Don unpacks the authority of persistent faith, the power of prayer, and the freedom Jesus offers to every family. In this message, you’ll discover the “Four Pillars of Freedom” — declarations of victory over fear, anxiety, brokenness, and bondage through the power of Christ. From midnight breakthroughs to the promise of a sound mind, this sermon is a call to fight for your home, believe for healing, and stand firm in the authority of God’s Word. If you’ve been battling worry, insecurity, fear, or spiritual heaviness, this message will encourage you to pray boldly, worship loudly, and trust that Jesus is still the Chain-Breaker today. episode GLAD (Week 8) Am I a Disciple of Jesus? artwork

GLAD (Week 8) Am I a Disciple of Jesus?

In week one we asked a simple question: Are you a disciple of Jesus? Now, after walking through what a disciple actually looks like, we ask it again—but this time, it’s not theoretical. In this message, we confront a hard reality: everyone is being formed by something. The question is whether we are being intentionally formed by Jesus or unintentionally shaped by culture. Looking at Romans 12 and Acts 2, we see that discipleship doesn’t happen by accident. Conformity is the default—but transformation requires a decision. What we give our attention to is what forms us, and in a world driven by distraction and algorithms, that matters more than ever. This isn’t about trying harder or performing better. It’s about surrender, intentionality, and allowing the Holy Spirit to do the transforming work in us. At some point, discipleship stops being an invitation… and becomes a decision. Am I actually a disciple of Jesus?   From Sunday 04.27.26
