Welcome back to The Fatherless Cheat Sheet! In today’s episode Andrew is solo and talks about cultural surrogates. He talks about specific movies, musicians, and situations that shaped him as a child and that carried into his adult life. The Fatherless Cheat Sheet, hosted by Andrew Parise, is about everything you wish a father (or father figure) could have shown you. Growing up without a dad taught Andrew that chasing "what could have been" is never the answer. When you need a hand on your shoulder, a kick in the pants, or some profound life advice, you can find it here. Have questions? Need advice? Email us at fatherlesscheatsheetpodcast@gmail.com. Getting Power From Comedy (with Caleb Zeringue)

Welcome back to The Fatherless Cheat Sheet! In today’s episode Andrew is joined by stand-up comedian, writer, actor & producer Caleb Zeringue! They talk about feeling anxiety on stage, using your past experiences for better through writing, and the importance of collaborating with creative partners. Follow Caleb! Website: https://www.calebzeringue.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caleb.meringue/ Threads: https://www.threads.com/@caleb.meringue TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@calebmeringue YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@calebzeringue About Caleb: Caleb Zeringue is a stand-up comic, writer, actor, producer and “big personality” best known as the original Executive Producer, original cast member and co-creator of the viral sensation Luigi: The Musical which was covered in the New York Times, NPR’s All Things Considered, and Washington Post just to name a few. As a stand-up, Caleb Zeringue is an NYC Queer Comedy Festival finalist, featured at Vice City Comedy Festival and LGBTLolFest, and has opened for national headliners including Jenny Zigrino and Lady Bushra — who STILL won't talk to him. He's performed at Cobb's, The Stand, Gotham, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He grew up across 16 states (his dad insists he's not bipolar, why do you ask?!). His comedy is unapologetically queer with a suspicious amount of emotional vulnerability and “bless your heart” southern energy. Catch his other project, Luigi: the Musical (@luigithemusical, luigithemusical.info) in June at Green Room 42. The Fatherless Cheat Sheet, hosted by Andrew Parise, is about everything you wish a father (or father figure) could have shown you. Growing up without a dad taught Andrew that chasing "what could have been" is never the answer.
