episode The Global Gratitude Show with Paris Norriss Adventurer Extraordinaire artwork

The Global Gratitude Show with Paris Norriss Adventurer Extraordinaire

Paris Norriss is a British-born adventurer, TV host, and explorer whose passion for discovery has taken him to some of the world's most remote and breathtaking destinations. He is the creator and presenter of the internationally broadcast adventure series Guy in Dubai and Guy in the Sky — captivating audiences across more than 125 countries on platforms including Amazon Prime, OSN, and major airline in-flight entertainment systems. His shows explore the intersection of adventure, culture, and travel, making him a natural ambassador for global tourism and experiential storytelling. From scaling mountains and diving in coral-rich oceans to soaring over ancient cities by paramotor, Paris has built a career around pushing boundaries and uncovering the extraordinary. His journeys go beyond adrenaline — they are rooted in understanding people, places, and the stories that make each destination unique. With every expedition, he immerses himself in local traditions, showcases authentic experiences, and inspires travelers to explore the world more meaningfully. A certified Rescue Scuba Diver, Freediver, APPI-certified Paramotor Pilot, IRATA Rope Access technician, experienced skydiver, and qualified boat captain, Paris captures destinations from perspectives few can access — filming underwater with sharks, navigating mountain trails, or gliding above UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This blend of technical expertise and cultural storytelling makes him one of the most authentic voices in adventure travel media today. As a speaker at tourism and travel events, Paris bridges adventure and destination marketing. Drawing on his global production experience and on-the-ground exploration, he offers practical insights into how destinations can leverage authentic storytelling, adventure tourism, and sustainable experiences to engage the modern traveler. His presentations combine breathtaking visuals with behind-the-scenes anecdotes and actionable takeaways. Beyond exploration, Paris is deeply committed to conservation and responsible tourism. He has collaborated with environmental organisations on marine conservation, turtle rescue, and reforestation initiatives — using his platforms to advocate for the protection of natural habitats and cultural heritage. His ability to inspire action, in adventure and sustainability alike, makes him a powerful voice for the future of travel.

episode The Global Gratitude Show with Daphne Freise International Flight Attendant artwork

The Global Gratitude Show with Daphne Freise International Flight Attendant

When Daphne Freise received a globe for Christmas in the second grade, it ignited a passion for learning about the world and its many cultures. Soon after that, her great-grandfather built a bookcase to house a brand-new set of Encyclopedia Britannica. Her mother—fortuitously—placed it in Daphne’s little blue Holly Hobbie-themed bedroom. She spent hours on the blue-and-green shag carpet, absorbed in her own small but expansive world. As records by Glen Campbell and Olivia Newton-John played on the Donny and Marie record player, she spun the globe, closed her eyes, and let one fingertip glide across its surface until it landed on a distant continent. Then she would pull down the corresponding encyclopedia volume, drop to the floor, and lose herself in the wonder of that place. Daphne launched her career in 1994 as an international flight attendant, and the wonderful worlds of charter and corporate aviation have taken her around the globe hundreds of times over the past 25+ years, including temporary duty assignments in India, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. She retired in 2025 and will soon be transplanting from Pennsylvania to North Carolina with her husband and cat, Copper. A wannabe hippie and ABBA devotee, she and Tim frequently holiday in London. She has attended writing workshops in Bulgaria, Kripalu, and the Pearl S. Buck Writing Center. Her published works appear in the Pearl S. Buck Literary Journal and Seven Secrets to the Perfect Personal Essay, by Nancy Aronie.  She currently has several works in progress, including her memoir of the workplace violence incident that led to the end of her career, and the story of her father, a federal prison guard over mafia operatives, whose life ended under legal guardianship in a small-town probate court.
