The Guava Tree
This meditation is intended to be played and followed directly after rising from savasana (corpse pose) at the end of one's yoga practice. One is asked to sit comfortably, hands in anjali mudra (though one can settle hands on thighs if this becomes strenuous), with eyes closed. It is suggested that after this meditation one complete their sitting with an eyes-open free form meditation, hands on thighs, allowing whatever arises to arise, practing "calm abiding," being simple and present in the world for several minutes and up to 20 minutes or more.
