Service in the HCM industry has evolved from a domestic phone-based call center where employees are housed in an office to where providers now service their clients via email, ticketing systems, and sometimes via AI Chat. In addition, employees providing the service are either home-based or the servicing is outsourced to other countries like the Philippines, or India.
