The importance of being earnest (Sincerity in creation)

This week we talk about the importance of sincerety in our creative works. Whether you are a writer, painter, filmmaker, dancer, singer, or a stacker of rocks; if the thing you make doesn't come from your heart it will be that much less vibrant. Don't aim first for mass appeal, don't first try to be better than your competitors. Instead focus on what you want to make, and let that be your guiding light. Don't hide that light, let it shine. Also I was so excited for this weeks episiode title. Despite the fact that I have never seen/read that play, and I'm pretty certain its making fun of something completely different. Generative Artificial Intelligence and its place in the arts has been a subject of conversation for a long time. In this weeks episode I give my take on it. The food analogy

In today's episode I walk you through an analogy I use when considering Stories and their effects on people. This is also the first episode I recorded in a new space so it sounds a bit different, I did my best to clean up the audio and I think it came out pretty okay!
