The Honesty Circle
Diary Entry #6: Live it | Welcome to The Honesty Circle đŠˇâ¨ You know that phrase, âWhatâs meant for me will be for meâ? Iâve said it so many times, usually after something didnât work out, as a way to comfort myself. But lately Iâve been asking: do I actually live like I believe that⌠or do I just say it to feel better? In this episode, Iâm catching you up on a few Honesty Circle updates (hello, Wednesday episodes đđž), inviting you into a new monthly Bible study, and sharing how a simple Black Friday thrifting trip with my sister turned into a whole heart check about control, trust, and outcomes. Her casual, faith-filled âIf itâs meant for me, itâll still be thereâ wasnât a reaction after disappointment. It was her starting posture. And that hit me. Hard. Because I usually pull that phrase out when something doesnât go my way, not before anything happens. This week I talk about: â¨Saying âwhatâs meant for me will be for meâ as a coping phrase vs. a lived conviction â¨How control and attachment to outcomes keep me from really trusting God â¨What âliving like I believe itâ looks like in real life: less tension, less anxiety, more rest and joy If youâre tired of overthinking every outcome, replaying âwhat ifs,â or saying faith-filled phrases that you donât actually feel anchored in yet⌠this episode is for you. Iâm learning how to live like I believe God is good, intentional, and present before I see how it all works out, and I want that for you, too. Donât forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review!
